Scotlandville High School was activated. They have a rich track history with accomplishment.

Hattie A. Watts High School, St Mary Parish, Patterson, La 70392 was in existence in 1960-1969. Presently, the Hattie A Watts Elemantary School is the Largest elementary school in St Mary Parish.
Ms. Hattie A. Watts was the first African American teacher to reside from Patterson, La.

My school L. B. Landry High School in New Orleans (Algiers). L. B. Landry is the second oldest black high school in New Orleans it was est 1938. Landry High named after an Algiers doctor named Dr. Lord Beaconsfield Landry which from an cut he received while during surgery on a 16 day old baby. The been build three time in it history the original school was destroyed by in 1958 and rebuilding in 1959 then that school was damaged in 2005 by Hurricane Katrina and rebuild in 2010 . All three school was rebuild on the original site.
